Pure Black Grass Fed Angus beef is grown in southern Victoria & Tasmania, regions renowned for abundant rainfall, clean air and a pristine environment.
Farms in this region are not as large as in other parts of Australia. Farmers are able to pay close attention to their smaller herds, producing cattle of superior quality. The smaller batches passing through their processing plant allow their highly trained staff to rigorously monitor quality standards. Young hand selected Angus cattle thrive on green pastures in a relaxed setting to ensure their meat is beautifully soft and tender without the need of added hormones.
Angus genetics are renowned for producing cattle with good marbling and growth rates. Marbling adds flavour and makes cooking easier, and high growth rates produce beef that is very tender. Growth hormones are never used and no therapeutic antibiotic treatment is allowed during the life of the cattle.
